No. Not everyone is racist. In order to be racist one has to be a member of a group that has the ability to control the economic, political, educational, legal, and social rights of others. People of color may not like white people for obvious reasons, but we do not have the ability to determine what rights and privileges white people get or when they get them. THAT is racism. It is historical, systemic, and privileges one group over another. No matter what lack of prejudice people may believe themselves to have, they are generally unaware of their own racism. It is the pond in which we swim.
