Oh no, not, Because it was JIM CROW JOE BIDEN who OPENLY BRAGGED about WRITING & PASSING the “DAMN CRIME BILL”, remember? I remember it well. I was an adult and into the age of reason. At the time, if you remember, black citizens were BEGGING their Congressional Reps and local law enforcement for a Crime Bill, most particularly due to the depradations of the drug trade. Congress didn't have a lot of black Congressional representation then, but two-thirds of black reps voted for the crime bill. The thing that most bothers me about reactions to the Crime Bill (which I fully admit did not turn out well for black people) is that even other black people appeaer to think of us as perpetrators rather than as victims. It was as victims of crime that we demanded a Crime Bill.

I'll vote Blue because I know what the alternative is. You are welcome to your opinion. I only hope that you/we do not have cause to regret it at the outcome. Shalom and Salaam.
