Oh well, then one person calls BS on the other. Why do people so eager to discount what black people say always revert to “identity politics?” The only reason that any group has “identity politics” is because white people, who believe they have the “license” and artificial standing to do so, label others as different. My ancestors were slaves because of their skin color, and nothing else. My ancestors endured lynching, Jim Crow, de facto and de jure segregation, and present discrimination all based on our appearance. We did not invent discrimination based on “identity.” Someone else did that for us. They continue to do it, then blame US when we call them on it, just as I’m blaming you for bringing up the old “identity politics” saw in the first place. I don’t care what you think you are. You are not an ally and do not care to be one. As for critical thinking, you have obviously confused being critical with being thoughtful. (I’ll spare you my credentials on the topic.)
Then shall the eyes of the blind be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped… I will not give up hope for you.
