Please. Bernie was 900 years old in 2016. He's Jewish, and there's a huge segment of America that is anti-Semitic. We see evidence of it every day. Most Americans don't understand what Democratic Socialism is, and the word "Socialism" scares the hell out of them. No. Bernie would not have won in 2016 no matter how much a niche group wants to believe that it's all about class and economics. It isn't. You don't have to "like" Hillary Clinton. We just needed to be more strategic in our voting and less personality-based, but no, we don't want competence. That's too foreign to us.
