Plenty of white celebrities have been "canceled" when they've done something stupid or violent. If anybody canceled anybody, then it's Smith canceling himself. He let the "lizard brain" take over in front of an audience of millions, and he's being censured for what he did, not who he is. I'm not going to argue that America likes to punish wealthy blacks; it does. I'm saying that Will Smith gave them an excuse.
