Pluralus, if you are a black person, you experience many/most events in common with people who look like you. We/they can discuss those common experiences because they are not "broad generalizations." Sometimes a multitude of "personal experiences" experienced by people who are alike is a patteren worth noting.

Depending on who you are, your identity determines your reality. Ask an indigenous American.
