Rebecca, that is not your "perspective," that is your EXPERIENCE. Anybody who's black or brown has had to live with people presuming that we can't possibly belong in costly places. I hope it never happens again, but if it should, complain (and I mean complain) immediately in person to some higher-up at the terminal. You will not only get an apology, but you may also get some other airline perk.
