Sadly, many Black men have been conservative abouot women's roles for a long time. It didn't just start yesterday. Also, and we've known this for a long time, Black women have always been considered less "desirable" than white women. There is some hateful, nasty stuff going on in their heads, and they can hate themselves if they want to, but I wish they'd leave us out of it.

Like most Black men who "forget" where they are on society's totem pole, they'll find out soon enough. Sometimes you're the player, and sometimes you're the one who gets played.
