Sadly, the culture to which most of us are accustomed, some from tradition and some from not knowing, does not best enhance our academic development. I've been listening to our verbal habits for years, and I can assure you that neither white t.v. writers nor cellphones contributed to it. This is not a perception I'm discussing, it is reality.
