Savannah, anyone who saw that gets to have an opinion, because it goes go beyond mere blackness and whiteness. How human beings respond to seeing violence is something everybody has an interest in. Just because it happened between two black men doesn't make it a black-only issue. You know, being black, being sexist, being female, being misogynist, being triggered, being you-fill-in-the-blank, are all lenses through which we view life, for good or ill. If, heaven forbid, either one of us was being abused by someone, would we care what the person who came to our aide looked like?
As I said to you, I'm black. I know our injuries. Are there going to be people, black, white, and other, who somehow try to make this about them and apply their own psychology into other people's lives? Yeah. I've seen plenty of people do it, including other black women. Perhaps you might consider that just because someone disagrees with you does not mean that they must, therefore, be biased or that you are free from bias or prejudice yourself.
