Someone is going to say, "Mrs. C, you always bring up the race card." Well, maybe this time, I will, and I'll tell you why it counts. There are rural, powerless, under-educated, and underpaid, white people, who could vote to solve their ills, if they wanted to. BUT, allying themselves with people they've been taught to despise is something they can't do. I say this as a person of color who has spent a lot of time around white, rural folks. Whiteness is all they have, and they'd rather be white than live in justice.
