Thank you for one of the best-documented and thoughtful political essays I've ever seen on Medium. I don't know what happened with Baby Boomers. I'm one too; somehow, we allowed ourselves to get bamboozled by Republican promises of riches, and we voted against not only our own interests, but the interests of our offspring as well. You're right. The ONLY way to attempt to fix things is to have an overwhelmingly Democratic turnout, and win, in November

To all of the cynics out there who keep complaining that the Democrats do nothing, we did plenty when we were in power, but the years the Republicans controlled the administration, we got cheated.
