Thank you for writing this; it must have been painful. My only disagreement is that this hatred began well before Donald Trump. When Barack Obama won the Presidential election in 2008, too many white folks had an existential crisis to which they could only with fear and haatred. They've been hurting the country ever since out of spite that "they didn't get their way." We need to fight them with everything we have.
