Thank you, Gray. I think most people in the U.S. have very little understanding of just how large a place geography has in human, social, economic, and technological development. I suggest that our author read both Tim Marshall's "Prisoners of Geography" and "The Power of Geography" to enhance his understanding, not only of people, but also of place.
