The media does not have to label the far-right as bigots and racists. Those people identify themselves, and the media merely quote them. Others are wary to vocalize their support for far-right candidates because they know that both they, and the far-right candidates, are wrong. So, pretend it's economics rather than "race." Pretend it's managing the budget (at which Republicans are notoriously poor) rather than wanting to deny rights to people who aren't wealthy and white.

If anything, the media are too polite and too eager to practice false equivalencies between the two parties. I'm sure your degree is well-earned, but your predictions seems to stem from emotions rather than logic or facts.
