There is no more obedient person than one who is afraid of being shunned by "their tribe." There are plenty of white people whose fear of being rejected by other whites is stronger than their desire to display the fairness they may actually feel. This fear truncates their lives and possibilitlies for the benefit of "regard" by those who don't deserve it. It's a shame to live as a coward.
