Thomas's kindness toward a couple of members of his family cannot begin to atone for the wrongs he has done to the rest of us, including young men like his nephew, who didn't have the benefit of an opportunistic uncle willing to sell his soul to racists.

Many of us knew he was a conniving liar who preferred serving whites before considering his own people. I want him to get every punishment he deserves.
