We definitely don't agree. VP Harris may not be your first choice, but she's the first choice of a lot of folks. Branch One on the Decision Tree is that Harris, and only Harris is the one with access to the campaign chest already raised by the campaign. No one else has that, so anyone, no matter how well-liked, would have to start raising dollars from scratch.

Poor Barack Obama. That man got badmouthed by people who had no idea what the circumstances were against him. "We" and all our mamas, turned out in 2008, expecting, I'm not sure what. We stayed home in 2010 and the Democrats lost the House. Not having a House majority meant that ONLY REPUBLICANS could bring bills to the floor for a vote. Heck, Republicans were so united against anything that could hurt Obama that they wouldn't even bring a bill requesting funds TO FIX THE CAPITOL, which had chunks falling into the street. We showed up again for Election Year 2012, then stayed home for the 2014 mid-terms and lost the Senate. Well, you're doomed if you lose the Senate. That's how Mitch McConnell and company stole a Supreme Court seat. Yet, people who don't know how the Legislative process works blamed Obama's "race neutrality" for his small list of accomplishments.

Harris went to Howard. She chose to attend an HBCU and she joined AKA. (Which I look upon favorably, because mine is an AKA family.) So she's bi-racial. I'm sure she's had her share of insults because of the "black" part.

Please do me the favor of wataching what I call my "magic video." Rapper, YelloPain, explains the legislative process for people who believe that a president has all the power. I've never met anyone who didn't come away impressed.
