What white people fear is the Golden Rule. Knowing what most of them have done, and still do, to us, they fear getting that back. That is one of the two fears they have of blacks being in power. First, it is an existential crisis for them not to be in charge. Second, being in charge means that the power we have over them could mirror the power they have over us. That's one scary thought.
