When I was first using crayons, back in the early 60s, Crayola had a "Flesh." I didn't understand what it was supposed to represent. Later, when I understood what flesh was, I just presumed that the crayon would magically appear as the color you wanted it to be when you used it. That didn't work either. We humans really need to think about the terms we take to be universals.
