It was not merely about unraveling Trump's financial transactions but doing so in order to influence the 2016 election. I objected every time the media called it "The Hush Money Trial," because it was about so much more. Without discussing his electoral machinations, both before the 2016 election and after the 2020 election, you're burying the lede!
