White people who ask such questions as the ones you asked and I highlighted, are being disengenuous. They know that every day is White Day. Every month is White Month. Every year is White Year. Until the 70s, television may as well have been called "White Television." I was born in the 50s. You can ask this of any older black person, and they'll confirm it. When a black person appeared on t.v., we all called our relatives so that they could see it too. It was rare to be included, so we "celebrated" when we were.

It is absolutely hilarious to us that white people believe that there's anything (particularly government programs) that solely benefit black people. Heck, more white women have been beneficiaries of Affirmative Action than blacks, but I bet whites will tell you stories of how they were harmed by it. Do they ever complain abut how they were cheated if another white person gets a job they want? No, they presume that that person was simply more competent (or knew somebody.)
