Yes. If you want to discuss it intelligently, then you need to read more than one book on the topic. You need to understand at least enough of it to know when someone else knows or doesn’t know what they’re talking about. The topic is “hard to tackle” because people are not interested in doing the minimal amount of homework they need to do to understand it. It doesn’t have to do with being “good,” or “not good.” It has to do with the mindset of finding things out for yourself. You notice that ordinary people rarely take to Facebook, or attend School Board meetings in order to argue about Physics — it’s because they know that they don’t know.
