Yes. I'm black, old enough to have been retired for several years and experienced enough to know what happens in schools. Disparage? I'm simply sharing the observations that anyone with eyes can see. If you have been a social worker/advocate for your entire adult life, then you have, no doubt, seen what I have seen, especially the pressure on black boys to "choose" one side or another.
