You may recall that the House and Senate went out of their way to diss and thwart Obama. The Republican House would not bring a bill to the floor allocating funds to repair the U.S. Capitol, when chunks of it were falling to the street below. I'm sure you remember how the Senate stayed in lock-step for eight months to deny his Supreme Court choice.

Obama wasn't perfect; of course, no president is. However, few were as deliberately disrespected as was Barack Obama.
