You really need to take her to a salon managed by BLACK PEOPLE. Black stylists are accustomed to dealing with all types of hair, and, clearly, we do not belittle or complain about children whose texture is different. Although hair stylists are supposed to be trained to care for ALL types of hair, I notice that white stylists are generally unwilling, or unable, to do it properly. I've never heard of a black stylist say that they haven't been trained to style "white" hair.

Please. Take her to a salon where the stylists and patrons look like her. Trust me. There will be plenty of other biracial kids there getting their hair done without its being a big deal. Good luck.
