You were kind to end your main title with idiot, when you know that racist, misogynist, and homophobe all take precedence. Very few of those people were deluded by Trump. During one of those early interviews with his supporters, one of them said, "He says what I'm thinking." Not that what any one of them was thinking was a surprise, but when someone admitted to it out loud, I told my husband that I wanted to leave the country.

If more Trump devotees were honest, then they would admit to what they're really thinking. Of course, the Republican Congress led them in racism for years and gave them permission to act out. We'll recover, but it's going to take a while.
