Your answer makes absolutely no sense to me. All I can say to you is that you can make excuses not to vote, AND LET THE OTHER SIDE WIN, or you can get yourself to the polls to have A CHANCE OF GETTING GOVERNMENT POLICIES THAT ARE BETTER FOR YOU.

Did I say that people should be paid for voting? Do I want to go to jail? What I said was that IF there were a $1,000 promised for completing your ballot, then people would find a way to do it. Forgive me for thinking ill of people, but they would do it if there were a new iphone waiting. If you decide that voting is important, then you find a way to do it. If you don't think it's important, then stay home and accept what you get without complaint. We don't decide what poll workers have a right to ask for. If they didn't ask white people, then it's up to you to observe and report that to both the city where you vote and the party to which you belong.

So, if you use absentee ballots (I assume SOME, but not all of the time) then why were you physically at your polling place? If someone is attempting to discourage your vote, do you walk away and let them win, or do you rise to the challenge? Go to your polling place and be prepared. That's the best advice I can give you, even if you didn't ask for it.
