Your view is wrong. People who don't want to admit to systemic racism always claim that the real culprit is class or poverty. Widespread poverty is present in the black and brown communities due to racism. If it's not racism, then it's resistance to social change, and often that social change includes people who are "different."

Thank goodness your predictions (and a lot of other folks') were wrong.
