You're absolutely right. Pence knew Trump was wrong about a whole lot of issues, but he didn't stick his neck out once. As for Jonathan Last calling Pence a "hero," Jonathan Last is still right-of-Center, so his qualifications for what makes a scared Republican a "hero" are different than mine. You're not a hero for doing what you're supposed to do. Most of us call that "life."
